Delta G Avaris receives approximately €900,000 in research funding for the further development of phage therapy

Funding of approximately €900,000 for research and development activities in the field of phage therapy.

Delta G Avaris GmbH has been awarded funding of approximately €900,000 under the German research tax incentive scheme, administered by the Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR), to support its research and development activities in the field of phage therapy. With this funding, Delta G Avaris specifically strengthens the development and production of GMP-compliant phages in order to enable new therapeutic options for patients who can no longer be adequately treated with antibiotics due to antimicrobial resistance (AMR). In doing so, the company reinforces its position as an innovative player in the field of phage therapy.
